How Do I Add a Diagnosis?
Integrate Your Clinical Findings into Psynth Reports
Psynth allows you to formally add diagnoses to your reports, and then provides supporting evidence based on the documents you've uploaded. This feature helps you quickly build a data-driven defense for your clinical conclusions.
Steps to Add a Diagnosis
Locate the "Summary of Findings" Section: After Psynth has generated your initial report, scroll down to the "Summary of Findings" section, immediately below the write-up for your last assessment. If you’ve set your preferences to create an appendix for tables, this section will appear above your appendix.
Click "Get Started": You'll see an option to begin adding your findings.
Select Your Diagnoses:
You'll be presented with a field to choose your primary DSM diagnoses (e.g., "Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder").
You also have the option to indicate if no diagnosis was identified.
Add to Report: Once you've selected your diagnosis, click to add it to the report.
What Happens Next?
Psynth will then analyze all the scores and information from your uploaded documents to find and present evidence that supports the diagnosis you, as the clinical expert, have determined. This provides a clear, defensible justification within your report.
For additional related information, consider using "Supplemental Findings," "Rule Out Diagnoses," and "Previous Diagnoses" (covered in separate articles).
